Halsey can now add acting and producing to her already out of this world resume!
Halsey shared on her personal Instagram that she booked the lead role in The Player’s Table, alongside Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney. The show is based on the novel They Wish They Were Us, by Jessica Goodman. But it doesn’t end there, the singer is also producing the series, which does not have a network at the moment.
Well, if you think you recognize the duo sharing a screen together, you’re right! Sydney starred as the leading lady in Halsey’s Graveyard music video.
The teen drama series is set around high school senior Jill Newman, played by Euphoria star Sydney Sweeney, and takes place at a prep school in Long Island. While trying to uncover the truth surrounding her best friend Shaila’s murder, Jill discovers that “players” in the school’s secret society may have something to do with it.
Halsey is set to play Rachel Calloway, who helps spark Jill’s interest in uncovering what really happened when Shaila was murdered.
This will be the songstress’s first acting debut, she however did have a quick cameo in 2018’s A Star Is Born.
