Almost a week ago, an announcement was made by multiple media outlets that Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich’s have ended their 2 months engagement. And at first, it seemed civil and peaceful. For the most part, many reported that the decision was mutual. Then over the weekend, Max started posting Instagram Stories claiming he only learned about their engagement ending through tabloids. Then he tried to woo her back by praising her singing and saying he loves her unconditionally. On Monday, he accepted the relationship was over. Then early Tuesday morning, he took aim at tabloid sources speaking about the breakup to outlets. “Stop trying to defamation [sic] me for telling the truth,” he wrote. What. Is. Going. On.
All this while, Demi has maintained silence on her social media channels, though she did take down their couple pics on her Instagram, and Max took down his with Demi. And now, a source close to her spoke to E! about how she *really* feels about Max’s post-breakup antics.
According to E! previously that Max has been “lying” in some of his posts, most notably when he claimed he did not learn about the breakup until after it came out in the press. A source additionally told People that “Demi made Max aware that the relationship was over and it was going to come out in the press.”

Now, Demi just wants to cut the ties for good. She is not happy about Ehrich making their breakup a public spectacle. “Demi wants no contact with Max at this point,” the source said. “She is completely embarrassed at the way he’s been acting and putting their relationship on blast via social media. She wants nothing to do with him.”
“Demi is completely done and doesn’t want to see him again at this point. She can’t believe she fell into his trap and is really upset over it.” The source added that Max’s “erratic behaviour” is “worrying” for Demi, as she “does not want the situation to escalate.” Yasss, go Demi.
