2 Malaysian animated films make waves at the Asian Academy Creative Awards
Ejen Ali The Movie and Alif & Sofia were named Malaysia’s winners at the 2020 Asian Academy Creative Awards (AAA).
This was announced live on the AAA Facebook page.
Director of Ejen Ali The Movie, Usamah Zaid, won the award for Best Direction (Fiction). The film is currently Malaysia’s #1 animated movie as it raked in about US$7 million (RM30 million) at the box-office.
