Contohnya seperti di rumah, tempat kerja mahupun di sekolah. Apabila sesuatu gurauan sudah melampuai batas sehingga menimbulkan ketidakselesaan dan ketidakpuasan hati oleh mana-mana pihak, ia boleh dikira sebagai sexual harrasment!
Baru-baru ini tular posting berkenaan sekumpulan pelajar di asrama yang mengalami gangguan seksual seperti diraba dan dicabul oleh warden dan guru di sekolah. Perkara ini sangat tidak wajar berlaku di alam persekolahan.
