As a child, she regularly competed in dance contests including ‘To Be Number One’. She also joined the eleven-member dance crew called ‘We Zaa Cool’. Later on, Lisa auditioned to join YG Entertainment in Thailand and among 4,000 participants, she was the only person to make the cut at only 13 years old!
In 2016, Lisa made her debut as a quarter of the South Korean girl group BLACKPINK. The girl group dropped their first album ‘Square One’ with lead singles like ‘Whistle’ and ‘Boombayah’. Since then, her career in the music industry just keeps flourishing. And as they say, the rest is history.
