Strong words…

During a time when a deadly pandemic is attacking the world, people are required to follow a universal SOP that requires everyone to wear and mask and socially distance themselves from others in an attempt to stop the COVID-19 virus from spreading. Despite the law being clear, there are certain individuals -or as Malaysians label them, ‘kayangan‘ – who may feel that they are above the law itself. Countless incidents have shown that these individuals have attempted to challenge the rule of law.

Malaysian actor Azwan Ali, better known to the people as ‘Diva AA’, who was approached by media has given a firm and strict statement to those who feel like they are superior to the government’s law. Twitter user @AkuBukanHipster shared the interview that delivers the message.

“So I (Diva AA) strongly oppose this (behaviour) as it’s over the limit, yeah”

“Because of THEM, the entire nation is in chaos”

“You think you’re so elite, you’re against the law?”, he continues. “If it’s just once, it’s forgivable. Even twice is still acceptable. But now it’s getting out of control. So when this happens, it shows how idiot you are.”

The interview goes on with him dissing artists in Malaysia. He also gives a stern message to those who support these artists.

“To all these die-hard fans who are obsessed and support these artists, go to HELL”.

He continued to address the never-ending problem by suggesting that they should be sent to prison.

“I don’t even have to mention her name. For what? Dislike, dislike, dislike. Accept the consequences. Because of you, people can’t go back for Raya, because of you so many rules have been created. But you? Happily celebrating Raya. Eh, hello. Who are you?”

He also addressed certain people who want him in jail instead, asking them to come forward. “What did I do? Do you think I’m stupid? I’m a law graduate. Don’t you dare mess with me”.

Malaysians who watched the interview were more than entertained while being in full agreement with his statements.

This user said: “So satisfied hearing his insult them”

The dramatic presentation of thoughts aside, do you agree with what the diva said?
