Such are the hardships being faced by the people right now.
At the time of writing, the body of a 3-month-old baby remains unburied for two days, as reported by Facebook page Laili Basir, a Humanity & Charity Coordinator for multiple organisations.
Based on the information provided on the page, Laili Basir received a call from a non-profit organisation called Rumah Ngaji who asked for help in managing the body of the infant. At the time of writing, it is communicated that this would be the second day where the body goes unburied.
“(Consumed by poverty, the father of the deceased is currently in jail while the mother is at a loss and has no material or financial means. She is also in a state of distraught and currently going through heavy depression.
Please pray for the ease of the Rumah Ngaji crew in their efforts to help this family.”)
The bank account for donations has been closed, as the funds collected is already enough for death rites. Netizens flocked over to the Facebook posts on the page to leave their kind thoughts and prayers for the family.

“If only I were nearby,” said a Facebook user, and was assured by Laili Basir that the team from Rumah Ngaji is currently handling the situation.
