The trend of keeping baby hairs, beards, and fine hairs around the facial area has now become a unique following for certain men in the United Kingdom (UK).

Daily Star reported that the style shows the man cutting all his hair except for the front, sides, and beard.

The final product sees them have a sort of ’roundabout hairstyle’.

The trend was reported to happen after some decided to try the style after being bored of staying at home for so long due to the lockdown.

Aside from that reason, the trend also came back to life as many people could not go to salons and barbershops.

Following this unique trend, a critic stated that the style was equivalent to a toilet bowl.

Besides that comment, there were others who felt that the style made someone even look criminal.

“It makes your face look more aggressive than usual.”

Others believed that the style should be erased from the face of the earth.

“I can’t believe that trend is the latest style.”

Among figures who followed the trend would be 61-year-old British Broadcaster Jeremy Clarkson who said he was made to not shave for a week last summer to achieve the style.

For some, they regarded the trend as something worse than the Mullet hairstyle that was once popular back in the 1980s.

The Mullet is a hairstyle where the person must cut their side hair short and allow the rest on the back to grow.

That hairstyle was once donned by many British celebrities including radio and television host Pat Sharp.

Besides that, the same hairstyle was worn by footballer Chris Waddle.
