Your favourite rug rats are back!
Looks like Paramount is developing a live-action/CGI hybrid film based on the ’90s animated children TV show. Just like the cartoon, the film will follow Tommy Pickles and his friends Chuckie, Phil, Lil, and Angelica.
Rugrats was created by Arlene Klasky, Gabor Csupo, and Paul Germain, and first hit Nickelodeon in 1991. The first run ended in 1994, while the fourth season began airing in 1996. There have also been numerous Rugrats films over the years such as The Rugrats Movie, Rugrats in Paris: The Movie, and Rugrats Go Wild which is a crossover movie with The Wild Thornberrys.
Director Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) will be involved in this project. However, no word yet on the cast so keep your eyes peeled!
