Looks like making new music won’t be a priority for Adele after she wraps up her Las Vegas residency later this year. The Grammy-winning singer reveals she has other creative pursuits in mind, and that music is not one of them.
“I don’t have any plans for new music, at all,” she explained. “I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.”
She has also gotten candid about her experience with fame, admitting that she misses her anonymous life before becoming famous and that, musically, her “tank is empty”. Adele currently has four studio albums under her belt throughout her career, with the first one being released in 2008.
Let’s hope our queen of soul gets the break she needs and returns to the music scene with plenty of new material!
