Ain Husniza Chosen to Speak About Children’s Rights at Unicef Conference

Ain Husniza Saiful Nizam has been selected to speak about children rights in Malaysia on a panel alongside Najat Maalla M’jid, the United Nations’ special representative of the secretary-general.

Titled “INSPIRE: Ending Violence Against Children During Covid-19 and Beyond”, the Unicef programme is scheduled to be aired online on 1-5 Nov, while Ain Husniza will be speaking two days earlier on 30 Oct.

As reported by The Vibes, she is also one of just seven people from the region invited to talk at the session.

“During the discussion, Ain will offer insights and suggestions on the current situation of children’s rights in Malaysia, especially as it relates to access to quality education, improving safety in schools, mental well-being, policy, and more,” Saiful Nizam, Ain’s father said through a Facebook post.
