The Boys is a superhero TV show where, instead of the superheroes being heroes, they are superpowered beings corrupted by fame and power.
The show has been running strong since its premiere in 2019, and has amassed a large number of fans. However, the end is coming near with season 5 being its last season, and main star Antony Starr who plays Homelander, is okay with it.
“I’m very conscious that I want us to go out on a really positive, strong note,” says Starr. “I don’t want us to be the show that pushed one season too far and fell flat.” He adds that, ” I think it’ll be about the right time, but also it’ll be a hard thing to leave.”
Season 4 is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video, and season 5 is set to premiere in 2026.
