Looks like Tina Carlyle is ready for a comeback!
Cameron Diaz, who plays the character of Tina Carlyle, has expressed interest in returning for a sequel to the 1994 hit classic The Mask, in which she starred opposite Jim Carrey. However, she has one condition:
“If Jim’s on board, I mean, I’ve been riding those coattails from day one,” she said in an interview.
Carrey stars as Stanley Ipkiss, a bank clerk who finds a magical mask that transforms him into a green creature who wreaks havoc. Speaking about the possibility of a sequel, the 63-year-old actor said,
“Oh gosh, you know, it has to be the right idea. If somebody had the right idea, I guess. It’s not really about the money.”
