There was a time when most fans would ship Ashley Tisdale and Zac Efron together.
But Ashley has since married singer Christopher French, and the couple have two children together. The actress, who played Sharpay Evans in the High School Musical, said their now-3-year-old initially thought the character’s actor, Zac Efron, was her father.
“She has seen High School Musical, I think when about a year ago maybe, my husband showed her,” Ashley said on “and she thought Zac Efron was her dad.” The 39-year-old continued, “She’s like, ‘Daddy!’ I was like, ‘No, no, no.’ Just because they have dark hair.”
Both Ashley and Zac starred in all of the original High School Musical trilogy, playing theatre princess Sharpay Evans and Troy Bolton, the conflicted jock.
