
Perikatan Nasional (PN) secretary-general Azmin Ali has confirmed that the coalition has held some form of informal discussions with MCA and MIC, both of which are components of the ruling Barisan Nasional (BN).
Azmin said both MCA and MIC acknowledged that the policies introduced by the former PN government led by Muhyiddin Yassin were fair and represented all Malaysians.
“Yes, informal meetings and discussions did take place because they are our friends,” Azmin said according to Sinar Harian.
When asked whether these discussions could lead to the parties joining PN, Azmin said it was too early to arrive at that conclusion.
