
A Bersatu Youth leader has criticised the party’s recently concluded general assembly, expressing disappointment with the lack of discussions on matters such as the party’s aspirations.
Meor Naqiuddin said a general assembly was meant to be an occasion at which the party’s aspirations, policies and targets are outlined, and that the public would assess Bersatu according to what took place.
However, he said this year’s meeting only witnessed the apple polishing of leaders.
“The past three general assemblies have been nothing more than a stage for unending drama,” the Parit Bersatu Youth chief said in a Facebook post late last night.

Meor said that in 2023, the main resolution had been to get Muhyiddin Yassin to reverse his decision not to defend his presidency.
