Beyoncé’s 2006 album B’Day could make a major return to the Billboard 200’s top 10, two decades after its original release.
Hits Daily Double estimates that the album could re-enter the chart at No. 6, with around 39,000 equivalent album units. The renewed interest comes after the release of an expanded edition marking the project’s 20th anniversary.
Released in September 2006, B’Day opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, moving 541,000 copies in its first week. The album marked Beyoncé’s second straight solo chart-topper and spawned a string of popular tracks, including “Déjà Vu,” “Ring the Alarm,” “Get Me Bodied,” “Beautiful Liar” and “Irreplaceable.”
