Jamie Spears, the estranged father of major pop-star Britney Spears, has had his leg amputated after a severe infection. According to reports, the procedure took place in November and was a last resort after doctors attempted five unsuccessful surgeries to contain the infection.
A source has said that the “terrible infection” came about after a knee replacement that Jamie had undergone earlier this year.
Jamie has become estranged from his daughter Britney, 42, following her battle in 2021 to end his conservatorship over her.
