Chris Hemsworth shared his feelings over the criticism that Marvel films face by directors like Francis Ford Coppola and Martin Scorsese.
“It felt harsh,” the Furiosa actor said. “And it bothers me, especially from heroes. It was an eye-roll for me, people bashing the superhero space. Those guys had films that didn’t work too — we all have. When they talked about what was wrong with superheroes, I thought, cool, tell that to the billions who watch them. Were they all wrong?”
Hemsworth, who plays Thor, has been in nine Marvel Cinematic Universe films. His first debut as the Norse god was in 2011, in the film called Thor. The franchise has spawned four films in total thus far, with the latest one featuring Natalie Portman wielding the mjolnir.
