So last year marked the 20th anniversary of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, and it’s been seven years since the last film Dead Man Tell No Tales with three more movies in between.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting the sixth film in the Pirates franchise, and it seems like producer Jerry Bruckheimer is developing two versions of the script for Pirates of the Caribbean 6! One of those scripts include the character Captain Jack Sparrow, famously played by Johnny Depp.
Over the last recent years, Bruckheimer has stated that there were no plans at that point for Depp to return to the famed franchise in the midst of his defamation trail against ex-wife Amber Heard, but with recent developments, Depp’s return could be made possible if “the actor and Disney can reconcile.”
