The two year battle against the eviction of Kebun-Kebun Bangsar is now over! DBKL has revoked their eviction notice to vacate the land.
This started in 2020 when they received their first eviction notice for raring domestic animals from an alleged complain from a neighbour, according to Malay Mail.
The notice stated that Kebun-Kebun Bangsar violated Section 425 (1) of the National Land Code and was notified to demolish all structures to evacuate the land that is owned by Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB).
On June 23 this year, they received another eviction notice from the Department of the Director General of Lands and Mines, stating that the farm had allegedly violated Section 425(1) of the National Land Code.
