Since its July 2019 premiere, The Boys has wowed its audience onscreen with its grotesque depiction of superheroes, who, unlike those from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, are corrupt. But it’s recently revealed that ten years back in 2008, director Adam McKay was the first to try and adapt this comic book series into a film trilogy.
However, the project bounced for a while until it fell into the hands of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, who are big fans of the comics.
And now, the fourth season of The Boys is currently halfway through its release on Amazon Prime Video, and the series has been renewed for its fifth and final season. Stay tuned!
