Elderly Swiss Driver Crashes MyVi Into Ipoh Petrol Station Due To Leg Cramps

In a harrowing incident which took place in Ipoh on 9 January, an elderly Swiss man lost control of his vehicle when he suffered leg cramps while at the wheel.

The 77-year-old, who had been driving a Perodua MyVi, abruptly crashed into the glass panel of a petrol station in Canning Garden, leaving bystanders in shock.

The event, which occurred at 10:30 a.m. on 9 January, was captured by CCTV cameras and shared on the Perak Press Facebook page.

The alarming video footage reveals the MyVi lunging forward, smashing through the glass panel of the premises, damaging a courier service outlet inside:

Photos reveal that the driver had also rammed into a Yamaha motorcycle in the process

New Straits Times reports that most of the individuals present at the scene narrowly escaped a direct hit from the vehicle, while one woman who had been standing near the outlet sustained injuries to her right…
