If you have experienced the Super Mario Galaxy game from 2007, you will surely enjoy this second film from the Super Mario film franchise!
The Super Mario Bros. Movie was released in 2023 and grossed a whopping $1.361 billion worldwide! And this time around, the Mario brothers make their way to a desert town called Tosterena, where they befriend the beloved fan-favourite character Yoshi. The adventure begins when the trio fight to protect the Mushroom Kingdom in Peach’s absence. So expect a fun, thrilling adventure with dazzling animation and a vivid colour palette!
The voice cast also gave a phenomenal performance in bringing their characters to life, with Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, and Jack Black all reprising their roles from the first film – playing Mario, Princess Peach, Luigi, and Bowser, respectively. And with the addition of Yoshi, we welcome Donald Glover to the talent roster!
With a runtime of 98 minutes, expect beat per beat of adventure that will surely entertain the younger audiences as well as adults who are a fan of the game franchise. And since The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is a loose adaptation of the Super Mario Galaxy game, die hard fans will surely spot Easter eggs throughout the movie!
