Taylor Swift‘s boyfriend has just won a Grammy!
The 30-year-old actor, Joe Alwyn, and Swift’s boyfriend of four years just received the award for being part of the team to produce his girlfriend’s eighth, chart-topping album, Folklore (2020).
As fans of the singer would soon find out after the release of her album, Alwyn was credited as the co-writer Exile and Betty for under the alias ‘William Bower’; he also co-produced Exile, Betty, My Tears Ricochet, August, This Is Me Trying, and Illicit Affairs. Swift thanked Alwyn while accepting the award for Folklore at last month’s ceremony, saying,
“Joe is the first person who I play every new song I write, and I had the best time writing songs with you in quarantine.”

In a recent interview with Paul McCartney for Rolling Stone, Swift opened up on how her relationship with Alwyn changed her life for the better — and how he actually inspired the song Peace on Folklore.
“The song is actually more rooted in my personal life. I know you have done a really excellent job of this in your personal life: carving out a human life within public life, and how scary that can be when you do fall in love and you meet someone, especially if you’ve met someone who has a very grounded, normal way of living,”
She went on to elaborate:
“I, oftentimes, in my anxieties, can control how I am as a person and how normal I act and rationalize things, but I cannot control if there are 20 photographers outside in the bushes and what they do and if they follow our car and if they interrupt our lives. I can’t control if there’s going to be a fake weird headline about us in the news tomorrow.”
Despite the singer keeping her relationship under wraps for years, however, she can’t fool fans who see Alwyn’s name written all over the album!
