A girl went viral recently in Indonesia after sharing her story about contacting her long-distance boyfriend for more than 200 hours non-stop.
The girl shared her story through a video on TikTok.
Tribunnews reported that the teenager known as 17-year-old Cia Fei is a high school student.
Her boyfriend known as 18-year-old Andrew Ken, on the other hand, is also schooling while working part-time in Japan.
They broke this record for the longest phone call through the Line application.
According to Cia Fei, she didn’t think her story would go viral and was only following a trend that was created by one of her friends.
However, Cia Fei explained that she and her boyfriend weren’t actually conversing for the entire length of the call.
“We don’t just sit in front of the laptop to talk because we do other things at the same time. So if we were to shower, the laptop would just be left in the room, and when we sleep we’d just put it aside.”
Cia Fei also said that she never got bored talking to him for over 8 days.
“We don’t just talk about private issues but also random things and we don’t speak all the time because there are times when we do our own things,” she said.
