In an interview, Glen Powell revealed that he turned down a potential role in the upcoming Jurassic World film, despite the original 1993 Jurassic Park being one of his “favourite movies.”
“It’s one of the things I’ve wanted to do my whole life,” said the Hit Man star, explaining of the upcoming Scarlett Johansson-starring installment, “I’m not doing that movie because I read the script and I immediately was like, my presence in this movie doesn’t help it.” He adds, “And the script’s great. It’s not about that,” Powell explained. “It’s about choosing where you’re going to make an audience happy and where you’re going to make yourself happy.”
You can, however, catch him in the upcoming film Twisters coming out later this year, which is a standalone sequel to the 1996 film Twister!
