Malaysian actor Zul Ariffin has stepped into the role of Archie Everhardt for a Malaysia-exclusive version of the upcoming animated sports comedy, GOAT.

Originally voiced by Stranger Things star David Harbour, Malaysian audiences will hear Archie take on a more local cadence, a move that Sony Pictures Entertainment Malaysia believes will land quite well when it hits theatres on 19 March.

This will be the actor’s first time performing an animated character entirely in English.

Add to that the fact that this specific version of the film has been made with Malaysian viewers in mind, making the story feel a little closer to home.
