Imagine being a writer, and realise that your stories are coming to life!
That’s the premise of this film (directed by Matthew Vaughn), in which Bryce Dallas Howard (The Help, The Village, Lady in the Water) plays Elly Conway, a spy novelist, and finds herself at risk of getting kidnapped (or killed) by the film’s baddie Bryan Cranston (Malcolm in the Middle, Breaking Bad).
Henry Cavill, famous for his roles as Superman and The Witcher, plays the titular role. And it’s worth mentioning that Conway’s adorable cat is played by Alfie, Claudia Schiffer’s (Vaughn’s wife) real-life cat!
