A fan-favourite My Lady Jane has gotten the axe at Amazon Prime Video, after just one season consisting of eight episodes.
The show tells the story within an alternate 16th-century England, where Lady Jane Grey is coerced by her mother in marrying Lord Guildford Dudley. There are also Ethians, humans who can take animal form, who have formed a group called the Pack — and will cause problems for Jane as she rises to power.
The show was inspired by the book of the same name written by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton, and Jodi Meadows.
