Brad Arnold, the lead vocalist and primary songwriter of American rock band 3 Doors Down, has passed away at the age of 47 following a battle with cancer, the band confirmed on X. Arnold revealed in May 2025 that he had been diagnosed with stage four clear cell renal carcinoma, a form of kidney cancer that had spread to his lungs.
In a statement released on Saturday, the band said he would be “deeply missed and forever remembered.”
3 Doors Down rose to fame in the 2000s with hits such as Kryptonite, Here Without You, When I’m Gone and Loser.
