It’s karma, DAP leader tells Muhyiddin on plots to topple him
A DAP leader today said that Bersatu president Muhyiddin Yassin was simply facing the consequences of his previous political manoeuvres, following moves from within his own party to topple him.
Sheikh Umar Bagharib Ali, a DAP central executive committee member, said signature drives and statutory declarations calling for Muhyiddin to step down should come as no surprise.
“Muhyiddin only needs to sit back, reflect, and evaluate himself: remember the Sheraton Move, which he helped orchestrate, leading to the power grab in March 2020.
“This, despite the fact that he himself was part of the government formed in 2018,” he said in a statement today.
The Johor DAP deputy chairman also accused Muhyiddin of “stabbing his PH allies in the back” and said it was unrealistic for him to now expect loyalty…
