James Cameron Reveals Why Jack Had To Die In The “Titanic”
The iconic film, Titanic premiered 25 years ago. Since then, there has been an on-going debate as to whether or not Jack should have survived.
Many would argue that Jack (played by Leonardo DiCaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet) could have survived together only if they made the effort to fit the both of them on the wooden door.
On the Discovery Channel show, Mythbusters, they decided to test that theory by using an exact replica of the door from the movie. In the end, they made it work by tying one of their life jackets – which would be Rose’s in the film – to the bottom of the door to reinforce the buoyancy which worked.
