Three days after disaster struck at the Father’s Organic Farm campsite, the search and rescue (SAR) operation continues their tireless search for survivors of the landslide that has made continuous national headlines.
Along with a large team of authorities, 11 tracking dogs were also ready to help in the hunt, with six of them coming from the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), four from the police, and one from the army.
However, eventually, one of these K9 sniffer dogs, an English springer spaniel by the name of Blake, reportedly collapsed from exhaustion during the crucial and harrowing operation.
Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) director Datuk Norazam Khamis stated that the canine passed out due to the detection unit working nonstop for two days straight, which goes beyond the allocated time.
