It’s no secret that Keanu Reeves is one of Hollywood’s most beloved actors. He’s just your all-round good guy who everybody seems to like. He’s never really involved in controversy; he just minds his own business and lives his life like a regular dude.
And that’s precisely why Apple TV’s upcoming dark comedy film Outcome feels like a brave social experiment. It takes the super likeable Reeves and makes him the absolute worst guy ever.
A bizarre apology tour
The first trailer for the film playfully taps into that premise. Reeves plays Reef Hawk, a once-adored Hollywood star whose carefully polished image is in jeapordy thanks to a mysterious blackmail video. It threatens to completely annihilate his reputation.
