Khairy Jamaluddin Expresses Desire To Head UMNO And Become The Prime Minister Someday
Khairy Jamaluddin, former Rembau MP, has stated that he is prepared to serve as prime minister. The health minister declared during a speech in Taman Saujana Utama that the timing was perfect to announce his intention to lead the government.
“I hope to become your prime minister someday and help our nation grow. However, I must first succeed in Sungai Buloh. I’m ready, but I need to demonstrate it in Sungai Buloh first,” he said, adding that if the crowd here supports him, he will then “enter the dragon’s den.”
He continued by saying that this was the first occasion where he had publicly expressed his intentions and that the party’s leadership would “cut him off” for doing so.
