
In a recent social media post shared by Harakah Daily, the official publication of the Islamic party PAS, Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff, the MP for Rantau Panjang, revealed that she had used her personal funds to supply water to areas in her constituency that were experiencing water supply issues.
The report states that Siti Zailah made arrangements for a sizeable water tanker to be filled with water from a fire hydrant and sent to the impacted areas.

Her actions have prompted controversy, though, and she has come under fire from the ministry of local government development. Siti Zailah’s actions were reckless, according to development minister Nga Kor Ming, and she will face legal repercussions for her statements.
