Local Waiter Dies After Suspicious Package Left On Car Bonnet Explodes In His Hands
A suspicious package that was placed on a car bonnet exploded and killed a Malaysian waiter last week, according to Kosmo.
The emergency call came in at around 8:55 p.m., as per Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Farouk Eshal, the chief of the Ampang Jaya District Police.
He noted that he man allegedly tried to move the parcel from his car’s bonnet after seeing it had been left there when he was approaching the eatery he worked at.
“A package that had been put on the bonnet of a Toyota Corolla Altis was discovered by the victim, a local man, not far from the restaurant where he was employed. An explosion was thought to have occurred when the victim held the suspicious package in his hands,” he stated.
The 28-year-old individual was subsequently taken to Ampang Hospital after sustaining severe injuries to his hands and body.
