

Leong Yew Chen, aged 35 years old, was charged for possession of imitation firearms, offensive weapons, police items and prohibited publications containing elements of Communist ideology.
Leong has pleaded not guilty to all charges but faces 25 years imprisonment and whipping if found guilty.
In the Sessions Court, before judge Norashima Khalid, Leong pleaded not guilty to two charges, one for unlawful possession of two rounds of live ammunition, an offence under Section 8 of the Firearms (Increased Penalties) Act 1971.
