A 21-year-old man in Seoul, South Korea has been indicted for secretly filming women in a restroom and causing serious harm to a woman after spraying capsaicin on toilet paper in the stall she occupied.

According to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office, the man (identified only by his surname Kim) was indicted on 2 June for causing bodily injury and violating the Act on Special Cases Concerning the Punishment of Sexual Crimes.

Suspect is social service worker

Disturbingly, Kim is reportedly a social service worker, which makes this crime even more abhorrent considering how often his line of work exposes him to vulnerable people.
