Great news to all Marvel fans! It is confirmed that we are going to see the new Ant Man 3 movie after Marvel teased us with the trailer for the public which was previously only seen by those at Marvel’s huge Comic-Con 2022 panel.
The trailer has a lighthearted beginning when Scott is honoured as ‘Employee of the Century’ at his former workplace, Baskin Robbins, but then it gets serious and explores the Quantum Realm, the inhabitants of the MCU’s ‘secret universe,’ and Kang the Conqueror’s plans. Below, things are looking…. very… strange??…
Viewers can spot actor Bill Murray at the very end of the trailer, which is an odd choice given the numerous allegations of misconduct that have been made against him recently. Murray’s character in the movie however is a mystery.
The release of “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” on February 17, 2023, will mark the beginning of the MCU’s Phase 5 of theatrical releases. For the third Ant-Man film, Quantumania has brought back director Peyton Reed, with “Rick and Morty”’s Jeff Loveness penning the script.
When Ant-Man 3 was originally pushed back to July 2023, it was switched with The Marvels to release in February 2023 instead. The production has concluded, and the new release date indicates that Marvel is convinced in the final piece.
