Billie Eilish is happier than ever and living every girl’s dream to date their favorite rockstar when she confirmed that she is dating Jesse Rutherford, The Neighbourhood vocalist, by sharing a kiss on October 19 outside an Indian restaurant in Studio City, California.
It has been five months since the seven-time Grammy winner’s split from ex-boyfriend Matthew Tyler Vorce, and she appears to have already found someone new. The new man in her life is, however, not completely new. Reportedly, the two first met in 2017 when Billie was only 15 or 16.
The relationship between Billie, 20 and Jesse, 31, have made some fans happy but many are not too crazy over it. They argue on Twitter that the 11-year age gap is quite concerning.

Jesse Rutherford is too old for Billie Eilish and it is made worse by the fact that he met her when she was barely 16. The Neighbourhood is one of my favorite bands but it looks like I’m about to stop listening to them. I’m so devastated. I hope Billie knows what she’s doing 🙁

Finneas, Billie’s brother, comes to clear the air by saying that he will always be by his sister’s side and he describes that Jesse is flawless in treating Billie. He also added that Billie is happy when she is around Jesse.
Finneas also said that Billie is mature enough to make her own decisions and understand that many fans care for her but there’s really nothing to be concerned about.
As fans, let’s just hope for the best for them and manifest that there’s a new song collaboration between the two lovebirds to be shared with everyone!
