The sea is calling Moana once again!
Disney has announced a sequel to Moana, and it is set to be released in theatres on November 27th! Here’s what Bob Iger, the CEO of Disney, has to say about the sequel.
“’Moana’ remains an incredibly popular franchise,” Iger said in a statement. “We can’t wait to give you more of Moana and Maui when ‘Moana 2’ comes to theaters this November.”
Moana 2 was originally developed as a TV series but became a feature film because Iger was impressed with the footage. It will be directed by Dave Derrick Jr., with music from the duo of Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, along with Opetaia Foa’i and Mark Mancina.
