The Ministry of Education took to their Facebook page yesterday to launch a survey on allowing students to use their mobile phones at school.

The survey by MOE is open from 23 November to 7 December and aims to gain insight on public opinion regarding the matter. The google docs form created takes into account the opinions of teachers, students, parents and the general public. 

From there, the ministry will use their findings to decide whether or not students should be allowed to bring their phones.  

Malaysian government schools have always banned primary and secondary school students from bringing and using their mobile phones at school. 

But times have changed with online learning being a big part of education these days.
