
A local couple’s joy over their newly acquired car, a Proton X50, turned into dismay just an hour after driving it out of the showroom.
The car was delivered to the couple around 5 p.m. by none other than the seller, who happened to be Azhazul Azri’s brother. Azhazul took to Facebook to share the harrowing experience.
The unfortunate incident unfolded in Puchong, a city known for its unpredictable weather patterns and susceptibility to flash floods.
In his post, he lamented, “Floods are a risk beyond our control.”
“One moment, it’s a sunny day at the shopping centre, and the next, you come out to find your car submerged. It had been just an hour since it left the showroom,” said Azhazul.
