Bersatu vice-president Ronald Kiandee reiterated that PAS’s intention to lead PN must be discussed by the coalition’s Supreme Council.
PETALING JAYA:

Bersatu vice-president Ronald Kiandee has no issues with PAS potentially being at the helm of Perikatan Nasional, citing his past experience working with the party in the Cabinet.

Kiandee, a former agriculture minister, also said no one had thought he would be able to Sabah PN, Utusan Malaysia reported.

“I have no issues with PAS. We used to be in the Cabinet together.

“Sometimes, one’s leadership quality will only shine when given the opportunity to hold a post. That is where they can prove their true value and capability.

“Therefore, I am confident that everyone here (in PN, including PAS,) is qualified and capable of leading (the coalition) based on their respective experiences,” he was quoted as saying.
