
Non-subsidised RON95 petrol will be sold at RM2.60 per litre from tomorrow as the government fully rolls out the BUDI95 initiative.
This will only apply to those who do not qualify for BUDI95, particularly foreigners.
The finance ministry said this price for non-subsidised RON95 will be fixed for the whole of October, with adjustments to follow based on global fluctuations in the oil market, while supporting price stability.
RON95 will meanwhile be sold at RM1.99 per litre for Malaysians eligible for BUDI95, and RM2.05 per litre for the public transport and land freight transport sectors.
The price of RON97 will remain at RM3.21 per litre, while diesel will continue to be sold at RM2.93 per litre in Peninsular Malaysia and RM2.15 per litre in East Malaysia.
