Pakistan PM for 3-day official visit to Malaysia
Pakistan’s prime minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will visit Malaysia from Oct 5 to 7 at the invitation of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
Shehbaz will be accompanied by Cabinet ministers, including deputy prime minister and foreign minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar, during the official visit reciprocating Anwar’s visit to Pakistan in October 2024.
He will be accorded an official welcome at the Perdana Putra Complex in Putrajaya on Oct 6, followed by a bilateral meeting with Anwar.
“Both leaders are expected to take stock of Malaysia-Pakistan bilateral relations and explore further collaboration, particularly in trade and investment, halal industry, education, tourism, and defence,” Bernama quoted Wisma Putra as saying in a statement.
