The Pirates of the Caribbean is expanding their franchise even further, and series producer Jerry Bruckheimer says he hopes to make two movies, with one of them potentially starring Margot Robbie.
Bruckheimer addressed Robbie’s comments from 2022, in which she said that she didn’t think Disney wanted to make her concept for the franchise a reality.
“We had an idea and we were developing it for a while, ages ago, to have more of a female-led — not totally female-led, but just a different kind of story — which we thought would’ve been really cool,” Robbie said at the time. “But I guess they don’t want to do it.”
Robbie has had an amazing year last year with the success of Barbie (in which she starred and produced), and things are looking even brighter than ever!
Will we see Barbie joining the crew of pirates? Let’s hope so!
