
After Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin announced a two-week restricted movement order on Malaysia, many restaurants have started offering delivery services
According to StoreHub, a company that offers operating systems to F&B and retail businesses, there has been a sharp 10% increase in demand for introducing delivery services in restaurants overnight following Muhyiddin’s announcement yesterday, 18 March.
The company cited the effects of the COVID-19 to the decrease of foot traffic to restaurants lately and led to a 45% spike in food delivery demands.
